Alaska roots. Arena dreams.

Small riders.
Big frontier.

Every rodeo dream starts somewhere. We’re building a place for young roughstock riders to find mentorship, opportunity, and a community in their corner.

BUILDING YOUNG RIDERSGROWING BIG DREAMSROOTED IN ALASKA
01 / Our purpose

A strong start.
A lasting impact.

Rodeo teaches lessons that reach far beyond eight seconds: courage, responsibility, perseverance, and respect. Our vision is to help young people pursue those lessons with experienced guidance and a supportive community.

Next Frontier Youth Rodeo Foundation is a proposed Alaska youth program focused on aspiring bull riders and bronc riders, with mentorship, responsible training, and financial support at its heart.

We’re in the planning stage. Program dates, eligibility, and participation details will be shared as the organization develops.

02 / The program vision

More than a ride.

Three priorities. One purpose: helping the next generation grow with the sport.

01

Learn with guidance.

Our goal is to connect young riders with experienced mentors and age-appropriate instruction, emphasizing preparation, protective equipment, and respect for animals.

02

Open the gate.

We aim to help reduce the financial barriers of equipment, training, entry fees, and competition travel, as funding and program resources become available.

03

Build good character.

Celebrate effort, practice sportsmanship, and learn to get back up. We want young riders to carry confidence and responsibility into everyday life.

The inspiration behind the vision

Country”

LANDON ALLEN · ALASKA

03 / It starts with a dream

One young cowboy.
A bigger possibility.

Landon “Big Country” Allen’s passion for rodeo is the inspiration behind Next Frontier. From chasing cowboy dreams to winning the 2026 Alaska State Fair Junior Bull Riding championship, his journey shows what determination and family support can make possible.

As Landon works toward his Junior NFR journey in Las Vegas, this vision looks ahead: building a community that can help more young riders pursue dreams of their own.
